The new makeup line from Karl Lagerfeld and ModelCo has been launched with a celebratory rollout in Paris.
The German designer and the Sydney-based skincare company have joined forces for a limited edition, 18 item collection that includes eye, lip and face products.
To mark the debut of the collection, 100 “Beauty Butlers” will be on hand in the city of lights to promote the sure to sell out items. Each will be making their way through iconic locations like the Les Tuileries garden, Montparnasse, the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower and interacting with beauty lovers. They will be adorned in helmets with 3D cartoon renderings of Lagerfeld - the same design that appears on key items - including the LIP LIGHTS Lip Gloss.
The conclusion of the event will take place at Place Vendôme, outside of the Hotel d’Evreux, where exclusive guests have been invited to attend a lush party commemorating the event.
“The Beauty Butlers storming the streets of Paris represent the bold, fashion oriented and unique attributes of the Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo colour cosmetics and collectable range,” Shelley Sullivan, Founder and CEO of ModelCo, said in a press release. “We achieved our goal of elevating this partnership on a global stage and certainly raised the bar for creativity and style. I was honoured to fuse ModelCo’s beauty knowledge with one of the world’s most renowned and iconic names in fashion, Karl Lagerfeld and bring our collaboration to lovers of fashion and beauty around the world. It was an honour to launch our collection in Paris.”
Model Stella Maxwell is the face of the highly anticipated line, which is available at Karl Lagerfeld stores and ModelCo.com as well as at Nordstrom in the US and at Douglas, Nocibe, Cult Beauty and Galeries Lafayette in Europe.
